Our international music project was founded by Mr. Edgar Omar Rojas Ruiz and Duo Skarka-Pohl and in its first edition established in co-operation with the Centro de Investigación y Estudios Musicales Mexico (CIEM) and the Ex Alumni Network of CIEM in 2008. 

 

The main purpose of the project is to contribute to the cultural exchange between the Czech Republic and Mexico, and in order to help to the international promotion of Czech and Mexican young high quality musicians.

 

To achieve that goal the production team consisting of composers, performers and managers from the both Czech Republic and Mexico created the "1st Composition Award Janacek - Revueltas 2008" holding names of the two famous composers of the 20th century from both countries to celebrate the act of mutual cultural contribution as well as new musical creations stimulated by the event.

 

 

The first edition of our project was entirely based on collaboration with Duo Skarka-Pohl, which was co-producing the whole event as well as taking all the performing responsibility of the entire tour, including half dozen performances in each of the two participating countries.

 

The realization itself, the competition and the following concert tours wouldn't be possible without a professional production staff, providing strong managment background for realizing high-quality concert events.
